THE SOHO / TOBACCOGrab glasses that sit comfortably on your face. The numbers inside the arm are a useful starting point. Compare them with the Size section on your chosen RIXX product page.
Example: SoHo Tobacco Prescription
The horizontal width of one lens. Compare within a similar frame shape; this number alone does not tell you the total frame width.
The distance between the lenses. A comfortable bridge sits securely without pinching or repeatedly slipping.
The length of the temple arm, including the bend. It should reach behind your ear comfortably without digging in.
No numbers? Measure your existing frame in millimetres with a ruler: one lens across, the bridge between lenses, and the arm from hinge to tip following the bend. Total front width is a separate measurement—do not calculate it from lens and bridge sizes alone.
Love the SoHo look? Compare these two Tobacco prescription frames. Large has wider lenses, with the same listed bridge and arm measurements.

Explore the larger proportions if you need more room across the front. Check bridge comfort as well as width.
Measurements above are for the linked products. Size names are not universal across styles. Always check the exact frame's Size section and current availability before choosing.
Face shape can spark an idea—it does not decide what you can wear. Choose contrast for definition, softer curves for balance, or simply the frame you feel best in.
Try square or rectangular frames for a little more definition.
Explore round-face ideas ↗Try rounder lenses or softened corners to complement a defined jaw.
Explore square-face ideas ↗Try lighter silhouettes or rounded shapes for a balanced look.
Explore heart-face ideas ↗Try a deeper lens shape to add visual balance to a longer face.
Explore rectangle-face ideas ↗Try oval shapes or a defined browline to draw attention to your eyes.
Explore diamond-face ideas ↗Try a stronger upper rim to balance a broader jawline.
Explore triangle-face ideas ↗Oval, a mix of shapes, or not sure? Start with proportions and comfort. You do not need a face-shape label to find a great pair.
Put your frames on, look straight ahead, smile and gently move your head. These three checks help you judge the fit.
The arms should sit comfortably along the sides of your head, without squeezing or bowing noticeably outwards.
The bridge should feel stable. Repeated slipping or pressure can mean the bridge shape or fit needs attention.
Your eyes should sit comfortably within the lenses. Check that your lashes clear the lenses and the frame does not lift against your cheeks when you smile.
If they squeeze at the temples, explore a wider frame. If pressure is mainly on your nose or behind your ears, the bridge or arm fit may be the issue. Compare all three measurements and ask us for help before changing size.
A wider frame is not always the answer. Slipping can relate to the bridge shape, overall width or arm adjustment. An optician can assess the fit; avoid heating or bending your frames yourself.
No. Oversized describes the look and lens coverage. A frame can look bold and still fit securely. Choose the silhouette you love, then check the bridge, temples and arms for comfort.
No. Frame shape, material, thickness and bridge design all affect how glasses sit. The numbers are a useful comparison, especially within the same style, but trying them on is the best way to assess comfort.
Start with a comfortable frame, then check the lens options on its product page. Frame sizing and pupillary distance (PD) are different measurements. If you are unsure about your prescription or lens suitability, contact our team or your optician.
