At RIXX Eyewear we welcome anyone willing to try on our products using our online store. Feel free to purchase any product in order to try it on. We are confident you’ll be pleased with your purchase. If not, be sure to return the product in its original packaging in ‘as new’ condition (within 10 days) and we will gladly refund your purchase. Please be aware the customer is responsible for return shipping.

RIXX PRESCRIPTION - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

What do I need to do to order online?

  1. Valid Prescription 

Simply upload your current prescription with a valid expiry date or send us an email at info@rixxeyewear.com.au following the completion of your purchase. 

Without an accurate prescription we won’t be able to provide the correct lenses you require. 

If you don’t have a valid prescription, visit a local optometrist (could we include a recommended option in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide etc?)

  1. Pupil Distance (PD)

Along with your valid prescription, we also need your pupil distance to ensure your eyes sit correctly behind your prescription lenses.

This is far less complicated than it sounds, trust us.

Your Pupillary Distance Measurement (PD for short) is the distance between the centre of your left pupil and your right pupil. Still with us? It is important your eyes view the universe through the best possible vantage point. That’s why this is important, even though it is not the most entertaining thing you will consider today.

This information is collected with your prescription so your optometrist will have it on file.

 

How long does it take from order to arrival?

Your glasses will be delivered within 7-18 business days from the moment you order them.

We strive to have them in your hands and on your face as soon as possible, although delivery times may vary depending on the prescription you have ordered.

Our customer service team will keep you updated along the way so you are never in the dark.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking updates from Australia Post.

Returns policy for prescription orders

Please be aware that prescription lenses are a medical item and can’t be returned unless there is a manufacturing issue. If that is the case, you can contact our customer service team at info@rixxeyewear.com.au and we will work towards resolving the problem as quickly as possible.

Are you eligible for a healthcare rebate?

We have some great news for your back pocket. RIXX Eyewear is covered by all major Australian private health funds. That means more savings for you!

If you aren’t with Medibank, Bupa, HCF, HBF, NIB, GMHBA or Australian Unity but still have healthcare insurance then you will be sorted.

How do you claim the rebate?

As you are purchasing glasses online, we will provide you with the required information to pass onto your health fund to be able to claim. Most rebates are processed within 4-5 business days, which means more money back in your pocket.
