Where Can I Try on RIXX Eyewear?

If you'd like to try before you decide, there are a few options.

Purchase your eyewear in order to try them on with full assurance of our free returns policy if they don't work for you.

If you're near to one, you can visit one of our stockists that typically hold most of our styles. Check out all of our stockists here.

Alternatively, you can use our Find Your Fit Guide to help ensure that you are getting the style that best suits you. A fair warning, use this as a guide only.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept most standard payment methods like Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay as well as Klarna, ZIP Pay and AfterPay as alternative payment methods.

What do I need to purchase prescription eyewear?

A valid prescription. Simply upload your current prescription with a valid expiry date or send us an email at info@rixxeyewear.com.au following the completion of your purchase. 

Pupil distance (PD). Along with your valid prescription, we also need your pupil distance to ensure your eyes sit correctly behind your prescription lenses.

This is far less complicated than it sounds.

Am I eligible for a health fund rebate?

We have some great news for your back pocket. RIXX Eyewear is covered by all major Australian private health funds. That means more savings for you!

If you aren’t with Medibank, Bupa, HCF, HBF, NIB, GMHBA or Australian Unity but still have healthcare insurance then you will be sorted.

How can I claim a health fund rebate?

As you are purchasing glasses online, we will provide you with the required information to pass onto your health fund to be able to claim. Most rebates are processed within 4-5 business days, which means more money back in your pocket.

What is your returns policy for prescription eyewear?

Prescription orders are custom-made and therefore cannot be returned or refunded. However, if you encounter a manufacturing defect, we are more than happy to replace the item. Please contact our customer support team at info@rixxeyewear.com.au for assistance with any issues related to manufacturing defects.

How many days does it take to process a prescription glasses order?

For prescription orders, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to make the custom lenses.

Where can I check the sizes?

We offer a variety of sizes to ensure you find the perfect fit for your eyewear. To find your fit, please visit our Find Your Fit page.

How can I track my order?

You will receive tracking information via email once your order has been shipped. If you do not receive this information, please contact us at info@rixxeyewear.com.au, and we will assist you in tracking your order.

Can I return my Order?

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your RIXX Eyewear product, please return it to us within 10 days of when it was delivered to you. We will gladly provide a refund if the product is in its original packaging and still in ‘as new’ condition.

Acceptable returns received after 10 days, but within 30 days, of when it was delivered to you will receive a store credit of equal value to your product.

Australian Returns

We are pleased to announce that we now offer free returns in Australia

To start the return process, please follow the steps inside our returns portal below.

  1. Complete the returns information form on our Returns Portal Click Here
  2. Use the Auspost Return slip we provide to repackage the item (You can use the RIXX packaging which has a spare tape for returns)
  3. Drop the package off at your nearest Australia Post branch.

When returning the product, make sure to include a note containing your order number, full name, and clear written instructions on whether you'd like an exchange, store credit, or a refund.

International Returns

What if the product is out of stock?

If the product you want is out of stock, you can sign up to get first access when it becomes available again, plus receive 10% off your first order. You can find the sign-up option on the product page. Additionally, we will update you via email or on our social media platforms when specific products are restocked. What are the polarized lenses you have?

Can we make non-polarized glasses into polarized?

Yes, it is possible to convert non-polarized glasses into polarized. However, please note that there is a customization fee of $50 for this service. Please contact our customer support at info@rixxeyewear.com.au for assistance.

Can polarized lenses be used for driving?

Yes, polarized sunglasses are great for outdoor activities, including driving. They help to reduce glare from surfaces like roads and water, making it easier to see clearly and stay focused on the road ahead.

Can polarized lenses be customized for different prescriptions?

Yes, we offer customized polarized lenses for different prescriptions. Please contact our customer support at info@rixxeyewear.com.au for assistance.

Are there any maintenance tips specific to polarized lenses?

Yes, to keep your polarized lenses in top condition, follow these tips:

  • Clean Regularly: Use a microfiber cloth and a lens cleaner specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, as these can scratch the lens.
  • Avoid Heat and Chemicals: Keep your polarized lenses away from extreme heat sources and harsh chemicals, including household cleaners and beauty products, as these can damage the lens coating.
  • Store Properly: When not in use, store your sunglasses in a protective case to prevent scratches and other damage. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or in hot environments like a car.
  • Rinse Before Wiping: Rinse your lenses with water to remove dust and debris before wiping them with a cloth. This helps prevent scratches.
  • Check for Damage: Regularly inspect your lenses for any signs of damage or wear. If you notice any issues, contact us for advice on repair or replacement.
Do you do prescription lenses for Boston?

As of now, we don't offer prescription lenses for the Boston model. However, we will post updates on our social media accounts if this option becomes available.

Can I exchange my sunglasses for a different model or color?

Yes, if you would like to exchange the item you received for a different model or color, please contact our customer support at info@rixxeyewear.com.au to process your exchange.

If my sunglasses are damaged, can you repair or replace them?

All RIXX Eyewear products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against faulty products. While we pride ourselves on the durability of our products, the warranty does not cover lens scratches, wear and tear, mishandling, or abuse. For more information on warranty and returns, please refer to our Terms and Conditions page.

What if my sunglasses are stolen? Can I get a replacement?

We cannot offer a replacement for stolen items. However, we are happy to offer you a discount on your next purchase.

What should I do if I received the wrong item?

Please contact our customer service at info@rixxeyewear.com.au and provide a photo or video of the item you received. We will process the replacement for you.

What is the best way to cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please contact our customer service at info@rixxeyewear.com.au within one day of placing the order. Once your order has been dispatched and is in transit, we cannot cancel it.

What should I do if I haven’t received my order yet?

There might be a delay in shipping. Please contact our customer service at info@rixxeyewear.com.au to help you locate your parcel.

How do I update my address if I entered incorrect details?

To update your order details, please contact our customer service at info@rixxeyewear.com.au as soon as possible before the order is dispatched.

What should I do if my item is marked as "Return to Sender" or lost in transit?

Please contact our customer service at info@rixxeyewear.com.au as soon as possible, and we will send you a new tracking number.

Do all frames come in prescription?

No, not all frames are available in prescription. You can explore our collection of prescription glasses here.

When will my order be shipped?

Our usual processing time is 1-3 business days. However, during peak sales periods, there may be slight delays due to the increased volume of orders. We appreciate your patience!
